Zoomies
The other night, when I came home from work, Dree came out onto the front lawn to greet me, releasing the dogs as she did so. Apparently, they had rather more than the usual amount of pent up energy, having what we have come to refer to as a case of the zoomies.
I was astounded, though, at just how fast and agile both dogs are. Dree usually takes them to the dog park on her own, since the boys are too small to go. She usually comes back with some great stories about Fiona and Fergus playing with the dogs at the park, but I rarely get to witness them at full tilt like this on my own.
The best description I can give is liquid silver on four legs. Their fur was flowing in the wind of their own passage and they were just racing all out, hell bent for leather. If it wasn’t past dusk, I would have grab a camera to try to capture them at play.
